The new and modern plant in the Ponte Valentino hamlet, in the Benevento countryside, relies upon technologically advanced equipment and machinery. Energy produced by the system is used to power pasta production processes. In particular, thermal energy is used both to dry and cool pasta prior to packaging.
AB has recommended an ECOMAX®24 HE system. The system ensures 44% electrical efficiency and 37% thermal efficiency, for an overall yield higher than 80%. The technological solutions adopted have allowed to achieve high performance in all operation parameters, at the same time reducing CO2 emissions by 42.7%. AB has also designed and built interconnections with the pre-existing structures of the plant.
