For the fifth consecutive year, AB has been awarded the Top Employers Italia certification – a result that this year carries even greater significance: for the first time, the score achieved exceeds not only the national benchmark (as it did last year), but also the average of internationally certified Top Employer companies with fewer than 5,000 employees, with a positive gap of 0.43 points. This figure confirms the robustness of the path undertaken and the Group’s positioning even in comparison with the best organisations globally: the score obtained is +2.02 points above the national benchmark and sits just below the average of all 2,340 Top Employer-certified companies worldwide.
The certification stems from a structured process that assesses over 250 practices, covering all areas that influence the employee experience: development and training, wellbeing, organisation, inclusion and sustainability. Year after year, this exercise enables AB to benchmark itself objectively and identify new opportunities for improvement.
This milestone is rooted in the AB Group’s first engagement with the Top Employers certification five years ago, which was not intended as a confirmation, but as the beginning of a journey of analysis and evolution. Since then, the assessment has become a method: a tool to interpret internal processes – mainly HR-related, but not exclusively – to measure itself against external standards and to work in a structured way on areas for improvement. Today, years later, that starting point highlights the significance of the goal achieved: the fifth consecutive year of certification, accompanied by results that mark a further step forward.
